Day Nineteen: Lost Again

Lost Again

She walks through the door,
throws her bookbag to the floor,
and carefully selects her read.

Then she retreats to her room and curls up in her bed,
removes her bookmark–just a piece of velvet thread–
and opens to the page
where she finds herself lost again
in a world where she can dream.

Why hello there. :) I'm Misty, a Christian writer, photographer, and violinist. The most likely places to find me are at the beach or the library, or maybe curled up somewhere clacking away at an old typewriter.
