I won’t be posting on Poetry Ponderings anymore. I’ve started a new blog, Stars & Stories, for all of my writings: stories, poetry, ramblings, thoughts, etc. However, I will keep this blog up so it will remain viewable. I just won’t be posting here anymore. Click HERE to go to the new blog.

Well…I wrote thirty poems for NaPoWriMo. No, I did not do it all in a month. But I did it for the motivation, the push to try my hand at a new form of writing: poetry.
Now, looking back, I can really see the change from my first poems to my last. I feel like I’ve improved a lot. There’s definitely still room for more improvement, but I’m glad to see my efforts weren’t pointless. I really enjoyed setting apart time every other day or so to actually write a poem, and it’s something I’ll surely do again next year.
So, what now? Originally, I had planned to only be active on this blog to post my NaPoWriMo poems. But I want to keep writing poetry throughout the year, so I think I’ll keep posting every now and then. Sound good?
Thanks to every single reader and follower for taking time to read this little blog! Have a lovely evening.
This blog is currently on hiatus through June 13-17 and will resume posting poetry the 18 or 19. Thank you!
Goodness, I haven’t posted on this blog in quite a while. School really sped up on me at the end of April and throughout May, but I completed Finals last week and am slowly crawling out of the craziness.
I feel bad that I didn’t reach thirty poems in thirty days for the month of April, so I thought I’d let my readers know I will continue posting poetry until I reach thirty poems. Why? The main reason is probably that I’m the kind of person who’s all in, or not at all. My goal was to reach thirty poems by the end of April and even though April has passed, I feel I can still write those thirty poems.
I also really adore poetry, and I desire to improve at writing it myself. NaPoWriMo helps me do just that.
Thus, I will continue writing and posting poetry until I reach thirty for this year, even if it isn’t April. I’ll probably check out the NaPoWriMo blog every now and then for prompts and inspiration as well.
Thanks for reading! And please, feel free to leave feedback/constructive criticism on my poetry if you wish.
Have a lovely day!
